Menopause Symptom

Published by suzanne under Menopause Symptom

Women are now quite cautious about the kinds of medicines they take for their menopause symptom.

Several things make menopause more alternative medicine friendly. Your menopause symptom probably differs from the next women’s.  Pharmaceutical medications cannot possibly help all of the more than 70 percent of women who are suffering from the typical – and the not so typical changes that menopause causes to happen in their mind and body.

Herbs make menopause more alternative medicine adaptive. There are many herbs which are quite useful to relieve your menopause symptom. Here are a few of the ones that seem to be tried and true.

Black Cohosh works wonders on the menopause symptom hot flashes (hot flushes). Many women swear by this herb, and it is found in many over the counter menopause remedies. It is also very good for cramps, as it seems to affect the uterus in a positive way.

Dong Quai contains plant estrogens that work just as well as synthetic ones. These natural hormones, which have the name of phytosterols, help make menopause sufferers believe more in alternative medicine and its powers once they see how effective they can be for this menopause symptom.

Ginkgo Biloba is quite a useful herb, relieving the fatigue, depression, and forgetfulness that seems to go hand in hand with menopause. Ginkgo has been proven to give you rapid energy and improve the circulation of the blood.

Red Clover can also be made into a tea. It is especially useful for problems with the ovaries.  Menopause can be more bearable with an alternative medicine such as this.

Sage is the perfect remedy for hot flashes (hot flushes). It can also help to relieve the night sweats that plague menopausal women day and night. Sage tea can be delicious! Also, look for fresh sage at your grocery store–the fresher, the better. Or better yet, grow some.  It’s very easy to grow in pots on your patio.  You can use the herb on salads, in vegetables, soups, and stews.

Saw Palmetto is quite popular in alternative medicine circles. It is great for fluid retention and will also help to cure urinary tract infections.

Sarsaparilla, the same kind made popular in soft drinks of long ago, is a energy booster that can help to boost the sex drive, which often needs a bit of help during the change of life. Perhaps this is why menopause sufferers enjoy this herb more than a lot of the other alternative medicines.

Herbs always work better in combination.  One natural product that combines these herbs is MENOZAC.

Women who are going through menopause use alternative medicine more often than women of other age groups.  Symptoms are different for each woman.  So be sure to use herbal remedies appropriate for your menopause symptom to help you through this often difficult period.

Blogging Advice

Published by suzanne under Blogging Advice

DON’T MISS THIS BLOGGING ADVICE!

Do you want blogging advice?  Alvin Phang is your man.  He created Atomic Blogging.

Like many others, I had the idea to try to make money online.  But where to start?  After a bit of online research, I discovered this idea of affiliate marketing.

OK, great idea. But how do I get the word out to the Internet buying public?  I didn’t know how to build a website.  The more I Google searched on the subject, the more I kept reading about blogs.  Everyone was saying how blogs are now THE way to attract web traffic to your product.

I created a few free blogs on Blogger but soon discovered how limited they were.  I needed some sound blogging advice.  With a bit more googling, I found Alvin Phang’s sales page for Atomic Blogging.

The first thing that caught my eye was the word “Newbie!”  Hey, that’s me!  Alvin said that even if I was a newbie, he could give me blogging advice on how to start a blog and show me how to drive web traffic to it.  I decided to give Atomic Blogging a go.

My first concern was to make sure that Atomic Blogging was going to give me blogging advice to produce the kind of blog I wanted to produce.  Lots of “make money online” schemes out there are only about making money reselling the product you just bought.  I wanted to sell products related to my niche:  Alternative Health & Alternative Medicine.  With the help of Atomic Blogging, I have done just that.

Alvin’s step-by-step blogging advice manual was so easy to follow, that I had a domain name, a web-hosting account, and a WORDPRESS blog up and running in no time.

Atomic Blogging taught me all about that mysterious subject: keywords.  I learned how to find the best ones and how to use them effectively in my blog posts.  I learned how to get my blog picked up by social marketing sites and search engines.

If you are a newbie like me, my best blogging advice is to go see Alvin at Atomic Blogging.

February 2008 Newsletter. Topic: Anxiety

February 2008 Newsletter. Topic: Anxiety

Each month, we focus on topics from A to Z. This month, it’s Anxiety.

But don’t get anxious about it! We are going to be positive about it and put emphasis on solutions.

Everyone will have different reasons why a situation causes them anxiety. As a rule it’s usually when we don’t feel in control of a situation, then we feel the situation tightening around us, causing us to feel anxiety.

If anxiety is caused by us not feeling in control of a situation, the answer is to try and reverse this, and regain that control. The good news is: YOU CAN!

So, let’s start looking at some of those tools you can use for stress management.

One of the tools available to you is self-change hypnosis, a technique developed by Richard MacKenzie. His program on Stress Management is excellent and has an 8-week money back guarantee.

A little help from our herbal allies is worth looking at, too.

Magnolia Officinalis (known in Chinese medicine as houpu) is a species of Magnolia tree that is native to the mountains and valleys of China. The highly aromatic bark contains magnolol and honokiol, two compounds that have demonstrated anti-anxiety properties.

Phellodendron Amurense, or the Amur Corkree, also grows in China, and in parts of Japan.

A herbal remedy called Relora combines Magnolia Officinalis and Phellodendron Amurense. This combination maintains normal levels of certain hormones in the body (cortisol and DHEA), in order to control anxiety and stress and their related symptoms, like weight gain. This herbal combination helps in producing and promoting relaxation and good feelings of high self-esteem.

Next month, it’s B. So what do you think, babies or bodycare? Stay tuned to Healthy-Woman.info and see!
